USE 911 WHEN THERE IS RISK TO LIFE, LIMB, OR EYESIGHT
*NEVER be reluctant to call 911. If you need to think about whether or not to call, CALL!
Let the 911 dispatcher determine what response is needed; that is what they are trained for.
*If you hear a neighbor's smoke alarm, cries for help, or you suspect danger-call 911
*Nobody loses when you call 911. There is nothing to be embarrassed about.
The professionals realize that the next call may prevent a tragedy.
*Remain calm and think with a clear head- and don't hesitate to call 911

MAKE SURE YOUR HOUSE NUMBER IS EASILY VISIBLE

1: GET OUT OF THE HOUSE immediately. DO NOT go back in.
2: Call 9 1 1 from a neighbor's house and wait for the fire department
3: Advise the fire department of anyone who may still be in the house
4: Advise the fire department of any hazards which may exist such as
ammunition, flammables such as gasoline in the garage etc.
