The LOWERY Family Tree

In 1998, I stumbled into Genealogy. What started as an interest has become almost an obession. I have found several cousins that have helped me along the way. I would like to thank Leo McAtee, Duane Wolf and Robert Cotton for all their help and guidance. Here is a quickie tour of my family tree. Daniel LOWERY m Ann EMBRY 26 April 1786. Their son,Frederick LOWERY married Elizabeth SHELL 9 Sept. 1809. They had Jonah b 11 March 1826 d 9 Nov 1905, married Christina MILLER on 30 May 1847. (Christine was born in Prussia, Germany in 1826 -1827) She was the daughter of Jacob MILLER & unknown Mrs. Miller. Jonah & Christine had three sons & four daughters. Peter Clinton LOWERY (my GGGrandpa) b 5 March 1864 d 20 Feb 1954 married Hila Ann MCATEE b 7 July 1870 d 18 Feb 1962. They had six sons & three daughters. Edward Thurston LOWERY (my GGrandpa)b 1 Sept 1894 d 7 March 1963 married Bertha Edna GLAZIER b 1897 ILL. d 30 Dec 1921. Edward & Bertha only had one son, Everett Eugene LOWERY b 6 Aug 1917 Huron, SD d 6 March 1953 Phoenix, Oregon. married Lillian Leola GILGORE b 28 Sept 1917 Iroquois,SD. Everett & Lillian had one son and one daughter. Patricia Kay LOWERY (my Mother)married Allan James COTTON. So here is our LOWERY bush..waiting to grow and sprout.
