The impetus for finally working on this site again is two-fold:
1. Someone important mentioned it was out of date (and he was right)
2. I bought a "new" '70 Datsun 1600 Roadster that is replacing my '67 1600
I've ordered about $1,000 worth of goodies for the new car (ssshhhh! don't tell my wife!) and plan to drive it to Mt. Shasta this year. I'll bring my digital camera and post pictures on the site as soon as I return. I'm also going to keep a journal of this car from purchase to the present. It's not getting a frame-off restoration, but hopefully will be a nice driver with a few neat bits and pieces to give Roadster newbies ideas and keep me and you motivated to fix whatever is broken and improve whatever can be made better. Check back in a week to see if I've got my '70 Roadster section up and running.
