Sadly The Bridge magazine collapsed in December 1998, leaving a homeless tribe of Mud Men wandering the publication landscape.

If you would like to see a home for THE MUDMEN then badger some poor unsuspecting magazine to adopt them and let me know how they react by contacting me via critter@ihug.com.au.

The Mud Men have a long history prior to their appearance in The Bridge. They first surfaced in the free Sydney music weekly 'On The Street' and continued a run from 1985 to 1987, ending up featured in early issues of 'Drum Media'. A special 8 page comic was also produced for the groundbreaking alternative comix magazine 'Pounding Tales' in 1987.
