2004 Rules

1.) SEASON: Season will run for 14 weeks plus 3 weeks of playoffs.

2.) DIVISION FORMAT: There will be 3 divisions consisting of 4 teams each. They will be
Division A- Teams 1. 4. 7. 10.
Division B- Teams 2, 5, 8, 11.
Division C- Teams 3, 6, 9, 12.
Each team will play their division opponents twice and every other team once.

3.) DRAFT: Each team will select 11 players. The draft order will be randomly selected, then reversed each round the rest of the draft.

4.) ROSTERS & TRADING: Unlimited transactions and trading until the first kickoff of Week #12. Trades subject to commissioner's approval.
A.) 2004 Trade Deadline: Thur. Nov. 25th @ 12:30 PM.
B.) Active Roster Size - Teams will consist of 11 players, in which 7 starters will include 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 PK, and 1 DE.

5.) TRANSACTIONS: Transaction fees are $2.00 each.
A.) Transactions are allowed Tuesday thru Sunday until 1:00PM. Teams may place a bid on any free agent on Tuesday until 12:00AM midnight. If more than one team bids on the same player, the team with the lower winning record will receive the player. (If tied, least total points.) Starting Wednesday, it will be first come, first serve.
B.) Players who are released will not be available until the following Tuesday. (For example): A player released on Wed. Oct. 20 will not be available until Tues. Oct. 26. The only exception will be players being released for players on Bye Reserve. They will be available on the Tuesday following the games.
C.) Injured Reserve (IR): An injured player can be placed on injured reserve while injured in league play. You may replace him with another player until his return. Once the player returns, you may release any player from your roster to return to 11 players. Only one player can be placed on Injured Reserve at any one time. Transaction fees are applied.
D.) Bye Reserve (BR): Any position player who has a bye week upcoming can be placed on bye week reserve for one week. You may replace him with another player for one week only and then that player MUST be released on the Tuesday following the game. If you would like to keep that player, you must bid for him on the Tuesday following the games. Transaction fees are applied.

6.) LINE-UPS: Each week before Kickoff (1:00PM) on Sunday, the managers must set up or call in a starting line-up to the commissioner. If no line-up is received before kickoff , the previous week's line-up will be used.
***Important Reminder - In order to start a player in a Thurs., Fri., or Sat. game the manager MUST set up or call before the kickoff of the player's game. If not, that player cannot be inserted in the lineup. If the player was in the previous week's lineup and no change was made on time, he must stay in the lineup.

7.) SCORING:

QB:
A.) Touchdowns: 4 points for each TD passing 49 yards or less, 6 points if 50 yards or more.
6 points for rushing, or receiving TD 49 yards or less, 9 points if 50 yards or more.
B.) Interceptions: Deduct 1 point for each interception thrown.
C.) Passing Yardage : 200 yds. - 2 Pts., 1 Pt. added for every 30 yds. over 200. (ex. 320 yds = 6 pts.)
D.) Rushing Yardage : 60 yds. - 2 pts. 1 pts. added for every 20 yds. over 60. (ex. 100 yds. = 4 pts.)
E.) Receiving Yardage : 60 yds. - 2 pts. 1pt. added for every 20 yds. over 60. (ex. 80 yds. = 3 pts.)

RB:
A.) Touchdowns: 4 points for each TD passing 49 yards or less, 6 points if 50 yards or more.
6 points for rushing, or receiving TD 49 yards or less, 9 points if 50 yards or more.
B.) Interceptions: Deduct 1 point for each interception thrown.
C.) Rushing Yardage : 60 yds. - 2 pts. 1 pt. added for every 20 yds. over 60. (ex. 98 yds. = 3 pts)
D.) Receiving Yardage : 60 yds. - 2 pts. 1 pt. added for every 20 yds. over 60. (ex. 129 yds. = 5 pts.)

WR:
A.) Touchdowns: 4 points for each TD passing 49 yards or less, 6 points if 50 yards or more.
6 points for rushing, or receiving TD 49 yards or less, 9 points if 50 yards or more.
B.) Interceptions: Deduct 1 point for each interception thrown.
C.) Receiving Yardage : 60 yds. - 2 pts. 1pt. added for every 20 yds. over 60 (ex. 126 yds. = 5 pts.)
D.) Rushing Yardage : 60 yds. - 2 pts. 1 pt. added for every 20 yds. over 60. (ex. 74 yds. = 2 pts.)

PK:
A.) Touchdowns: 4 points for each TD passing 49 yards or less, 6 points if 50 yards or more.
6 points for rushing, or receiving TD 49 yards or less, 9 points if 50 yards or more.
B.) Interceptions: Deduct 1 point for each interception thrown.
C.) PAT 1 pt. for each extra point conversion. (-1) for missed extra point.
D.) FG 3 pts. for each field goal.
E.) Add 2 pts. for any 50+ yd. FG.

D/ST (Defense/Special Teams):
A.) Shutout - 7 pts.
B.) Total points against 9 and under - 3 pts
C.) Safety - 2 pts.
D.) Interceptions - 1 pts.
E.) Defensive Fumble Recoveries - 1 pt.
F.) Sacks - 1 pt.
G.) Fumble Recovery or Interception Returned For TD - (D/ST on the field) 6 pts. for 49 yards or less, 9 pts. for 50 yards or more
H.) Kick Return for TD (Punt / Kickoff) 6 pts. for 74 or less, 9 pts. for 80 yards or more. Blocked Kick Return (Punt / FG) For TD - 6 pts.

Two-Point Conversions: Offensive players only. No Two-Point conversions for D/ST.
A.) Run - Runner receives 2 pts.
B.) Pass - Thrower & Receiver both receive 1 pt. each.

8.) PAYMENTS: Season payment is $60 whch includes web site fee.

11.) PLAYOFFS:
Six teams will make the playoffs. 3 Division winners and 3 Wild Card teams.
A.) FIRST ROUND
The #1 and #2 Division winner will receive a bye in Round 1.
The #3 Division winner plays the #3 Wild Card.
The #1 and #2 Wild Card Teams play each other.
B.) SECOND ROUND
The #1 Division winner plays the lowest Wild Card winner.
The other two remaining teams play each other.
C.) CRUSADER BOWL XII
The two remaining teams play for the championship.

12.) PLAYOFF TIEBREAKERS:
If a playoff game is tied. The tiebreakers are in this order.
1.) Total starter and reserve player points combined.
2.) Total starting QB, RB's and WR's points combined.
3.) Starting QB points
4.) Starting RB's points
5.) Starting WR's points
6.) Coin Toss
