WHAT GOD HATH PROMISED
God hath not promised Skies always blue, Flower-strewn pathways All our lives through, God hath not promised Sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain. But God hath promised Strength for the Day, Rest for the labor, Light for the way, Help from above, Unfailing sympathy, Undying love.

*****
It is more blessed to give than to receive.
*****
I expect to pass through this world but once
Any good therefore that I can do
or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature let me do it now
For I shall not pass this way again
*****
It warms the cockles of my heart when folks acknowledge using information from my site.
