ESLCity.com
This collaborative membership site offers dozens of printable games, flashcards, worksheets, writing activities, and printable mini-books. Membership does not require payment. You simply have to share your own work to gain access to the materials fellow teachers have created.

ESL-Kids
Free ESL resources for kids including flashcards, handwriting worksheets, classroom games and children's song lyrics. Site also allows teachers to create and print their own puzzles, games, worksheets, and so forth.

ESLKidsStuff.com
This is a site that offers some free materials (primarily ideas for games and activities) along with some printable resources (worksheets and flashcards) that are accessible only through paid membership. I've never subscribed to the paid version of the site, but the free content alone is well worth a visit.

The EFL Playhouse
A resource site for teachers of English to young learners. Offers games, songs, fingerplays, chants, craft ideas, teaching tips, and phonics activities for the early childhood classroom.

The ELT Two Cents Cafe
Variety of resources for both students and teachers; includes practical tips section for those considering overseas employment.

IATEFL Young Learners Web site
Home page of the Young Learners special interest group of IATEFL; site provides membership information, articles related to teaching young learners, and links to other valuable sites.

The Internet TESL Journal
This site is not specifically for teachers of young learners; however, much of the information it offers can be applied to any ESL or EFL setting; its TESL/TEFL/TESOL/ESL/EFL/ESOL Links is a must-see!

John's Holiday Home
Site primarily for intermediate and advanced students offers excellent background information on a variety of holidays; also offers links for each holiday to educational sites.

Soon Online Magazine
Online magazine designed especially for English language learners utilizes basic English and features articles of interest to young adult and adult readers.

Early Childhood Education

These sites are not ESL/EFL specific, but they all contain resources that may be adapted to the ESL/EFL setting.

Early Literacy
A collaborative compilation of research, strategies, and resources for teachers and parents. Includes sizeable collection of early childhood poems and action rhymes, grouped according to theme.

This teacher offers a sizeable collection of printable reading and phonics games, along with directions for traditional children's games, songs, phonics material, and math and science activities.

KinderConnect
This teacher's homepage includes a section for other teachers, complete with alphabet activities and a month-by-month listing of suggested themes and activities.

KinderKorner
Operated by teacher and literacy coach Victoria Smith, this site is arguably among the best resources on the net for teachers of young learners. It includes detailed information on setting up and managing a classroom, along with hundreds of ideas for theme-based teaching. 

KIDIDDLES
Offers lyrics for hundreds of children's songs, many of them complete with sound files. Browse by title or subject, or search for a particular song.

Little Explorers
A commercial site, features 1,000+ word children's picture dictionary online; entries in English, English-French, English-German, English-Portuguese, and English-Spanish words; graphics intensive, but worth a visit!

Online Children's Stories
Offers links to children's classics, fairy tales, folklore, nursery rhymes, poetry, and more. Use this site to build your own classroom library. (Print out public domain texts, placing a sentence or a paragraph on each page, allow students to read and illustrate, then staple or bind.)

Preschool Education
Includes games, songs, fingerplays, arts and crafts ideas, seasonal material, classroom management resources, alphabet teaching ideas/worksheets, coloring pages, and more.
