Remember this song Mom?  Side by Side.  You used to sing it to me all the time when I was small and I know and remember the words.
They will be with me always.  I used to stand on your feet and we would dance to this song and you would sing.

Oh we ain't got a barrel of money,
Maybe we're ragged and funny,
But we'll travel along, singing our song
Side by Side
Oh we don't know what's coming tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel our road,
Sharing our load,
Side by Side
Through all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall?
Just as long as we're together
It doesn't matter at all
When they've all had their troubles and parted
We'll be the same as we started
Just a travelin' along
Singing our song
Side by Side

Wedding Day
May 18, 1947

Mom married dear Dad on May 18, 1947
Mom was married to Alex Moore before she met my dear father .  Alex died of tuberculosis in 1945 and left her with one son, Thomas.  She met my father after he returned home from WWII, fell in love and they were married.  They had 2 children, Audrey and Larry.  They shared their lives together, tough times and good times until my father died in March 1970.
Dad died from complications that were the onset of malaria which he got during a tour in Italy during the war.  He will always be remembered and we love him dearly.
