Welcome to my wacky website.

My name is Jeff Shelton. I'm a die hard music fan and, as of late, have been augmenting my staggering music collection with a wide array of power pop. My fave bands include the incredible Canadian band Sloan, the Posies, Redd Kross, Jellyfish, Fountains of Wayne, Matthew Sweet...and the original masters of the pop hook The Beatles, Cheap Trick, Badfinger, The Who, etc...

I play in a band called Spinning Jennies. We're really a bunch of geeks, but we're dedicated to our craft and work diligently to destroy our well-scrubbed look by delving out catchy, upbeat, hook-ladden music with slabs of beefy guitar and lots of vocal harmonies, goofy rock star posturing, etc. You can see our ugly mugs and download some of our music at www.thespinningjennies.com.
