Here is a little info about the Combat and the Master. Both are manufactured
by PEC, and seem to be durable guns. I have not had a chance to try one out,
but if you have, please email me your review! For more info got check out
PECs webpage
Here we see a pic of the basic Combat. Not much to look at...
However, with the Combat Commander upgrade package, it begins to look
a little like an M-16.....

And now for the Master! A great looking gun, looks a whole lot like
an M-16. I think perhaps one of its greatest features is the ease of
cleaning. By undoing a bolt in back, the lower reciver unhinges and you
can slide all the guts out easily!
Here is a review I pulled off of the usenet: "I owned a master. I must say that I never experienced any problems with the gun
whatsoever. In fact, it's a great out of the box gun (for me at least). The
stock barrel is real nice, as well as the construction. I got one of the first
batch (#64) and had the power hose replaced (upgraded from a plastic to braided
steel) by PEC for free and a trigger job done as well. Maintaining the gun was
very easy, didn't require any tools. It does have a very distinctive "ting"
noise when it fires. It shoots fine in cold weather. I can't say it's the gun
for you because I don't know your style of play. It's not a quiet gun and is
too heavy for one handed shooting. The trigger feels kinda rough. Before I
switched to a motorized hopper, I used this gun with a regular vl200 and never
had feed problems- although I can only shoot 3-4 rounds per second with the
master. In terms of it's construction it is very durable."

his honest opinion!
