The Viper M1 is an excellent gun for the beginning Milsim player. It comes readily available in the "Military" package as seen above, and can be had for a very fair price. Perhaps it's biggest draw is the built in expansion chamber (the "ammo clip" seen above) which helps with evening out velocity and reducing liquid CO2 intake. However the position of the expansion chamber means the bottle is mounted in an odd place, which may put off some gun shoppers. The best suggestion I have is to use a remote, as this will also lighten up the gun and preserve its "Military" look.
The Viper has drawn rave reviews by all who have used it, and I'm eagerly awaiting any reviews by Milsim players so I can post them here. Bill Mills of Warpig actually works as a publicist for the Vipers manufacturer, because he likes the marker so much. The manufacturer also makes a M4 collapsible stock (the kind on the Viper) for attaching to Spyders.
