.Wolves have been depicted as big and bad in stories, films, articles, and nursery rhymes. What is the truth about these wonderful animals? Are they our ancestors returning to teach us how to heal the earth or are they the greatest Trickster of all?

.All profits from this competition goes to the SAYANA WOLF TRUST to help disadvantaged Native Americans and to promote educational links and cultural exchanges between British and Native American adults & children. You can help us to help them by subscribing to WOLF WEB, for £10 per year or by sending a donation of £5 which pays the postage to send a shoe box gift to a Native American child. .RULES 1. Poems must be in English, original, not previously published, awarded a prize, performed, nor submitted elsewhere during the currency of these competitions and entries must be sent by snail mail with fee - NOT by email.

2. No poem longer than 30 lines or shorter than 5 lines, each poem typed on a separate A4 sheet.

3. No name or identification of author on entries. Attach a postcard to entries stating your name, address, Tel no. list of titles or opening lines. Send two copies of each poem

4. Entry Fee; £2 ($5) per entry or 50p ($2) children under 10. Members ; 1 poem free - state member number

5. No entrant may receive more than one prize per competition, except at the Editor's discretion.

6. Closing date; 12;12 annually.

7. Judges decision is final, no correspondence can be entered into. We reserve the right not to award prizes if the entries are not to the required standard.

8. Retain copies of your poems. No entries returned

9. Copyright remains with author

10. Results of winning entries can be obtained by sending SAE to the address below.. No correspondence answered without SAE.
