STORY BEHIND KILLER SMURF POEM

Michelle Davey is a new recruit on training, who was immediately
dubbed "The Smurf" by her squad mates. She was apparently
quite popular with her squad and prior to her going back to the
academy, they decided to pull a practical joke on her. The whole
squad and the radio operator were in on it.

Michelle and her training officer Marcie Flammand were dispatched
to a suspicious circumstances call. Meanwhile waiting hidden
in the back rooms were the rest of her squad. Another squad member
Tony Demers was lying in a back room wearing a rubber old man's
mask, covered with theatrical blood and a fake knife in his chest.

All the lights were off and Marcie and Michelle moved in by
flashlight. The saw the body and determined it was a homicide.
Unfortunately, one of the other fellows moved too soon and Michelle
caught sight of the movement. Thinking the suspect was still
onscene she drew her gun and started to move towards the room.

Of course, if she enters the other room, the joke is blown,
so Marcie quickly sent her in to check on the victim and then
quickly advised Michelle that she and another member had the suspect
in custody. Michelle then went about the task of checking on
the condition of the victim. She leaned in closer and when she
was close enough, Tony stuck his tongue out through the mask and
sat up.

Poor Michelle, it was like a scene from Psycho or Night of
The Living Dead. She screamed, jumped backwards and headed for
the door, only to be surrounded by her laughing squad mates and
Tony the Dead Man. Good thing she didn't draw her gun and shoot
Tony. Well Michelle has been properly initiated now, has gone
back to the Academy to complete her training, she is due to return
her sympathetic squad shortly.
