Police Act Tact

.

Way out in New Westminster, several years ago,

Two policemen working nightshift, time was passing slow.

Constable Crosato, the senior man on site,

Scotty Stewart was the junior one, on that fateful night.

.

They stopped their cars on twelfth, and got out on the street,

Both stood there for a minute, to ease their tired feet.

Just a few more moments, would be allowed to pass,

Scotty with a mighty fart, released his pent up gas.

.

Denny looked at Scotty, and wrinkled up his nose,

"That’s disgusting", Denny giggled, "enough to curl your toes".

Right there it should have ended, as they went on to their call,

Except for one lone woman, who made them take a fall.

.

She wrote a letter to the Chief, complaining of the pair,

Of how one of these officers, polluted up the air.

The pair came into work one night, and were called in by the boss,

To answer this complaint he got, too serious to toss.

.

Scotty was advised right then, by the man right near the top,

Denny got a reprimand, because he did not make him stop.

This must be a first in history, in police complaining art,

Of a cop receiving discipline, for a random public fart.

.

Where oh where will we be now, with the brand new police act,

Will all complaints be acted on, or will there be some tact.

Police complaints come in all the time, spanning all the nations,

But this brings all new meaning to, Internal Investigations.
