Funk N Hyde
.
Emma Hyde was mentoring;
the new guy Jason Funk,
They got a call to deal
with, a loud obnoxious drunk.
Upon arriving at the scene,
they got out of their ride,
She was screaming out obscenities,
at the pair of Funk n Hyde.
.
Things began to escalate,
the drunk then staggered round,
They tried to get a hold
of her, before she fell onto the ground.
Push and shove and struggle,
every move was quickly tried,
She soon had on the handcuffs,
of the pair of Funk n Hyde.
.
Still, she was abusive,
she was mad at her boyfriend,
He staggered out and suddenly;
her abuse was at an end.
When she calmed sufficiently,
to be taken back inside,
They led her in most graciously,
this pair of Funk n Hyde.
.
Prior to departing, Emma
did one last good thing,
She tucked into a pocket,
one set of keys joined by a ring.
The radio was going nuts,
as the two got back outside,
They searched then for the
next call, none could Funk n Hyde.
.
End of shift came quickly,
or so we thought with glee,
We stumbled in the office,
work done, we were free.
Emma then looked everywhere,
no matter what she tried,
She could not find it anyplace,
where could they Funk n Hyde?
.
It seems our eager heroine,
in her haste to lose the souse,
Had handed her the key ring,
of her own small car and house.
So off they trudged, to
go back out, walking side by side,
They key retrieving twosome,
the pair of Funk n Hyde.
