CLOUDS

Black Cloud

.

Everyone knows a someone, who’s luck is always bad,

I’m here to tell a story, of such a fateful lad.

Chris Smith joined the V.P.D., from New Westminster up the street,

And since his transfer took effect, he has generated heat.

.

First there was the pepper spray, where he hosed his own classmate,

He cleared out the whole classroom, on this one fateful date.

But this was just the first one, in a long list of many more,

Where Chris has rained destruction, from above or on the floor.

.

Another one that comes to mind, occurred not long ago,

He was covering a B&E, where the reference came quite slow.

The suspect had been trapped inside, or so we all believed,

Chris decided then and there, the guy could be retrieved.

.

He climbed into an air vent, on the building at the side,

When sure enough, things went wrong, he took a little ride.

Tumbling down the upright shaft, and so we tell the tale,

He was staring out through metal bars, and looked to be in jail.

.

Several stitches later, as the Doctors patched his arm,

His nickname was decided on, and has now become a charm.

But if this wasn’t quite enough, today he added just one more,

When a driver sped away, with the pedal on the floor.

.

Crunch! There was a mighty crash, there for all to see,

Chris went blasting after him, and drove right into ME!

So now young Chris will be known by, the nickname he has earned,

“Black Cloud” Smith, you must avoid, for fear of being burned.
