The Austin Book Workers is a group of people interested in books. ABW is dedicated to promoting the appreciation, study, and practice of ancient and modern book structures, book design, and book production methods. Our group was founded in 1985 and is committed to organizing local programs that celebrate a rich diversity of book-related topics. If you are interested in learning more about the book arts, visit us at our annual Book Arts Fair. ABW members demonstrate, and invite you to try, the various techniques used to make a book. The Fair is held each summer at Austin Museum of Art at Laguna Gloria.
