Northeast Florida Society of Brewers,

located in Jacksonville, Florida.

The purpose of our club is to provide a forum to promote and support the art of homebrewing. We meet once a month at a different location in the Jacksonville area (normally a local bar or microbrewery) to discuss brewing techniques, brewing tips, successful brewing stories (even horror stories) and sharing recipes.

Another monthly event is our judging of the brew of the month. Each month we feature a type of brew (i.e. brown ale, porter, etc...) and members bring samples of the beer. Three judges are selected and judge the beer. The other members and guests have an opportunity to taste the beers as well. This is a great opportunity for the members to share their hard work and get recognition for it. The winner of the competition is submitted to the A.H.A. as the club's entry into the national competition.
