THE EDXP CODE OF ETHICS FOR DX HOBBYISTS

of the author.
A Code of Ethics for DXers was originally formulated about 40
years ago as the outcome of a Committee set up by the Association
of North American Radio Clubs. In the years which followed, variations
of it have been adopted informally by several radio monitoring
Clubs worldwide, and may be considered analogous to the codes
of conduct of various professional bodies or learned institutions.
The EDXP is a Monitoring Association in the traditional sense,
and its Administration, in delivering and coordinating services
for its members, is totally supportive of the concepts and thrust
of the Code. This version of the Code is given here, incorporating
refinements and additions, as a non-mandatory, but appropriate,
set of guiding principles, for the assistance of members, insofar
as applicable to the hobby of listening to terrestrial radio broadcasting
stations.
A DXER
