Impossibly Blonde: Marilyn at 77

Norma Jean Baker
June 1, 1926 - August 5, 1962

There are literally thousands of pictures of Marilyn Monroe out there, and there are Marilyn websites that have hundreds of pictures on them.
Even though I've been a Marilyn fan for as long as I can remember, some of those websites are just too overwelming in their scope.
So, I've put this tribute together with just a couple dozen of my favorite shots. Some are familiar and some you may have not seen before, but I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do.
She was truly one of a kind and through pictures, books and her movies, she will live on forever.

(For a larger version of a picture, click on the one you want to see. Or to see the larger version of them all, start with the first and click on NEXT below each picture.)

This last picture is said to have been one of Marilyn's favorites. I know it's one of mine.
