Woven Amulet Purses I seem to have arrived at the idea of creating amulet purses several years after it occurred to everyone else. I made my first one about two years ago. My first efforts were loomed--a technique I'd learned years ago. Only this year did I attempt or begin to master the art of peyote (twill) stitch.
