Welcome to the Conneticut NetGoth homepage. I decided to start the list after reading a few threads on alt.gothic and alt.gothic.fashion about there not being any goths in CT. The thing is that there ARE goths in CT, just no where for us all to hang out and meet one another. So this seemed like as good a place as any to start it. There once was another CT NetGoth list, but it fell off the face of the earth...and it wasn't that much of a loss. ;>
Even in the suburbs there are goths. We don't have that many goth-like places or clubs in CT. The thing is that only this past year we have started to have goth and industiral (even and S&M themed) nights in the New Haven area. But part of the problem seems to be that the majority of goths popping out of the woodwork seem to be under 21 and all the clubs (except on that, naturally, has it's goth night on a Sunday) are 21 and over. But with the list everyone is starting to find eachother and we are slowly building up to a bit of a crew. The way I see it, it can't get any worse. It can only go up from here. But then we are in the state that brought us such horrors as Yale University...hmmm....
