The goal of From the Gut is to celebrate the music of the guitar, lute, and vihuela in the greater Los Angeles area.

The show aims to provide the following:

  • Interviews with Artists
  • Rare Recordings as well as new releases by artists/composers.
  • A Weekly Concert Calendar for events in Southern California
  • Ticket Giveaways
 About the Hosts

Peter Mosinskis, B.A. in Music Candidate, Fall 1999.

Michael Reiner, B.A. in Music Candidate, Spring 2000.

Peter and Michael are both performing classical guitarists. Both participate in the LMU Guitar Ensemble.

About KXLU FM 88.9

KXLU FM 88.9 transmits to the greater Los Angeles area at approximately 3000 watts from the campus of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, near the LAX airport.

KXLU FM is a non-profit station run by LMU students and features no commercials thanks to the support of our devoted listeners.
