The Horse in Art

Welcome to my web site dedicated to the image of our beloved equine friend as he has been portrayed throughout the ages in art. For centuries the horse has survived as our faithful companion as well as our transportation and vehicle of war. The horse has been revered and worshiped as a god and spiritual guide as well as a beast of burden. This web sight will show you how the horse has been viewed by humans in history from the 1700's to our present day.
