Old Wounds, New Nightmares. What if Onslaught had ended differently? What if X-Force found themselves with a new leader, a new mission, and an old name? This is one of the classics - a must read! Alternate Timelines Feature Story: April 2000!

The Not Knowing is What Gets You: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8. Rahne Sinclair left the New Mutants after her experiences in Genosha. Now that Excalibur has disbanded she visits her former teammates in X-Force. . . This is Alystraea's first story, and while as her sister I may be slightly partial, I believe it is rather good!

Coming Out. Bobby, Tabitha, Terry, and Dani go shopping in Haight-Ashbury and find more than they bargained for. This is a bit of silly fic that we came up with one night.

Under A Blue Kentucky Sky. The Sam and the X-Men must find a way to cope after tragedy strikes at the Guthrie farm.

Don't Tell Me. Seven years in the future, things have changed for a few people. All things except one.

Road Trippin' X-Force. In the words of the author "Lost + Short Tempers + Binkeee + X-Force = The Story You Gotta Read." Yeah, I think that about covers it ;)

Oh How She Shines. After the New Mutants disband Sam Guthrie returns to Kentucky to live a normal life, until that life which is threatened by the past. Written in response to the 'Life Without Cable: What if... Cable Never Formed X-Force' Challenge.

Unknown. A shared fear, and an overdue dance bring two lonely people closer together. Winner: 1999 Honorary Prosh Award for Writing Excellence!

Water and Blood: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, (in progress) The first story in a series featuring Rictor and X-Force. Rictor is having strange nightmares after saving a girl from drowning. He doesn't know anything about the girl or about the mysterious "Kipper" that is driving him insane.

Live For Me. After Tabitha's tragic death, Sam searches for a reason to go on.

The Beat of a Drum. What makes X-forces resident cat woman tick? Is it blind rage...or something more?

A Laying On of Hands: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5. Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12, Part 13, Part 14, Part 15, Part 16, Part 17. This is the story that first introduced Dana Hawkes. Misinterpreting the meaning behind School for Gifted Youngsters, an arrogant man attempts to enroll one child, but finds that the headmaster is interested in another. This story is the prequel to Alicia McKenzie's 'Outsiders Arc' and to 'Epinikion,' written by Cascade and Alicia McKenzie (which can be found at the Cable & Domino Archive).

The Pantheon universe is the creation of Alicia McKenzie, and can be found on the Cable & Domino Archive.

A Gift of Life. Sam demonstrates his bravery and generosity by doing something that we all should do. Both Maria and I urge you to do the same!

Silent Conversation. In a "what if" set after the events in X-Force #91, Terry is comforted by Artie, while recovering from Feral's attack, at the Massachusetts Academy.

Morning After. Pete contemplates the changes to and the women in his life. Prequel to Smoky Mirrors.

Smoky Mirrors. Tabitha seeks to mask her pain, as she mourns a secret love. A response to the Dirty Little Secrets Challenge.

It Can't Just be Intellectual... Set after the 'Revolution,' Tabitha finds herself contemplating the teams new leader, and vice verse. Oh, the lovely things Lyssie can do with a bit of subtext. :)

Ring Around The Rosie. Tabitha finds a unique way of letting Shatterstar know that he should lighten up. Wonderfully funny!

Silent Treatment. While visiting her Aunt Meg, Siryn begins to come to terms with the loss of her voice, and it's effect on her life. This is a very powerful and insightful story! Winner of the 1999 Prosh Award for Best Character-Driven Story!

In Sickness.... When Tabitha wakes up feeling terrible, only one person can make it all better.

The Night Before. After Cable's 'death' Sam and Tabitha take time to reflect on the changes in their lives. A response to the Let Them Think About it challenge!

It's Too %&^$# Hot in Here. Did you ever wonder what super heroes do to cool off on a hot summer day? The answer may surprise you, especially when the heroes are X-Force.

A Love Hate Kinda Thing. A brief examination of Bobby and Tabitha. Written and set before Marvel made them a couple.

The Rhythm is Gonna Get You, The Official Riverdance Story: Part 1, Part 2. Siren has had it with the antics of her team. She decides to start a new life, as part of the Riverdance company (and she thought fighting the MLF was hard).

X-Force vs. The Peeps: Intro, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. X-Force moves yet again, unfortunately they find that their new home is already occupied. This has to be one of the funniest stories I have ever read.

Before I Wake. Written in response to the 'Scary Story' challenge on OTL, a vampire pays a late night visit to one very special member of X-Force.

In My Image. Part 1, Interlude I, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Interlude II, (in progress). Shifts in Sam's personality and his powers are the prelude to far more. This story has some of the most insightful characterization you can hope for. A definite 'must read.'

Some Rain Must Fall. Sam Guthrie and Alex Summers find common ground and something more in the rain. An unusual pairing, but one with a compelling charm. Be sure to check out the sequel - Cloudcover. Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

Cloudcover. The sequel to Some Rain Must Fall. While battling university bureaucracy Alex receives a visit from someone who has been occupying his thoughts. Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

Make It Okay: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. (Follow-up to Some Rain Must Fall and Cloudcover) Sam and Alex must deal with what their relationship means to them and to the people they love. Fantastic story, that takes a good hard look at both characters - wonderful characterization. Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

Throw A Stone. When Sam is hurt on a mission, it provokes some serious soul-searching on Alex's part and raises serious issues in their relationship. This series keeps getting better and better. This story is excellent: insightful characterization, incredible plot... it has everything. I really cannot recommend it enough. Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

Journal. The discovery of a lost diary leads to questions asked, and answers found. Written for the Sibling Rivalry Challenge!

Lightning Never Strikes Twice. (Highlander/X-Force) Sam receives a call from an old friend who has some disturbing news. This story was inspired by The Other Rule written by Lee Barnett and Leary.

Once Upon a Forgotten Dream. A brief look into a dark future for one member of X-Force. Warning: adult themes; substance abuse and prostitution.

Tabitha. After an introspective look at her life, Tabitha decides upon a course of action.

The Tannenbaum One Thousand . Deadpool receives a Christmas commission from a jolly man named Kristoph St. Nicholas. A fantastic tale filled with the holiday spirit! Alternate Timelines Feature Story: December 1999!

And They Played Merry Hell With Christmas...! When Rahne and Moira decide to celebrate the holidays at Muir Island, each sets out to ensure that the people most important to the other join the celebration. Beautifully written - a true celebration of friends and family! Alternate Timelines Feature Story: December 1999!

Sanity Claus(e). When Deadpool takes his daughter to see Santa, he gets more than he bargained for. Highly recommended!

Death In The Family. Called to his sister's deathbed, Sam Guthrie is yet again faced with the cruel reality of being an External. Winner: 1999 Honorary Prosh Award for Writing Excellence!

Truly Right. Through out his life, Tom Guthrie sought to teach his children to do what is right. This is a beautiful story that brings life to Sam's relationship with his father. Alternate Timelines Feature Story: February 2000!

Leader's Lesson. Set during the early days of Sam's tenure with the X-Men, Cannonball is assigned the task of training his former teacher Magneto/Joseph. Archivist's Note: this story occurs before the somewhat convoluted "revelations" of Uncanny #350 and the Magneto War.

The New Mutants: Class Reunion. The surviving members of The New Mutants gather at the Massachusetts Academy for a class reunion, and a whole lot more! If you were disappointed in the "official" version read this one, you will be much more satisfied! Winner: 1998 Honorary Prosh Award for Writing Excellence!

Shatterstar: Warrior Born: Prologue, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Epilogue. Set after X-Force #55, Shatterstar returns to his homeworld, learning much about his past and his Destiny.

Today is a Good Day to Die. An unofficial sequel to 'Devil's Due' by Laersyn. Archivist's Note: You will probably want to read 'Devil's Due' first, though I give you fair warning it is a violent story. You can find 'Devil's Due' at Ro's Fanfiction Archive.

The Other Rule. This marvelous Highlander/X-Men crossover reveals the rules which cover Externals, as Sam Guthrie meets Duncan MacLeod, the Highlander. Just trust me and read it.

Growing Up, Mojoworld Style. Spiral is sent to cancel the X-Babies, with unexpected results. This one is a Must Read for Shatterstar fans - trust me!

I Saw The News Today, Oh Boy. A woman remembers a childhood friend and contemplates the changes in their lives since last they met. An evocative story that will remind you of friends and days gone by. Make sure you check out the companion piece About A Lucky Man.

About A Lucky Man. One man's thoughts turn to a friend he used to know and would like to know again. The companion to I Saw The News Today, Oh Boy, this is a beautifully written story that will make you think about the people you have allowed to slip out of your life.

"Who's Seducing Stevie?" Set between panels in X-Force #19, Roberto has a heart to heart talk, and perhaps something more, with long time friend Stevie Hunter. Winner of the 1998 Prosh Award for Best Single Character Story!

Valentine's Night . On Valentine's Day Roberto takes Dani out for a romantic evening. Set after X-Force #71. Winner of the 1998 Prosh Award for Best Romance!

Rootless: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 , Part 4. X-Force encounters the Thunderbolts in Colorado, during their road-trippin' days. Set after X-Force #71 and 'Valentine's Night, and after page 14 of Thunderbolts #15. Winner of the 1998 Prosh Award for Best Crossover!

Teacher Bashing: Part 1, (in progress). Set sometime in the future (roughly 2 or 3 years), X-Force, now agents of SHIELD, are assigned the task of bringing in two former mercenaries, Cable and Domino. Right now Samy has no immediate plans to finish this story, but I am hoping that a lot of feedback might speed things along! :)

Your Way. The funeral of a mutual friend brings together X-Force and Magneto. Sparks fly as the students clash with their former teacher over the fate of her murderer. Set after 'Teacher Bashing.'

Apocalypso: Trailer, Forward, Part 1, Part 2 , Part 3, Part 4 , Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Epilogue. X-Force must get to the Mayan ruins at Palenque and halt an alien menace, before an American super-soldier can get there first. Oh... and they have to do this all without destroying anything. Alternate Timelines Feature Story: January 2001!

Who Dares Wins: Part 1,Part 2, Part 3 , Part 4. The new Upstarts, led by Roberto Da Costa, mount an overthrow of the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle. This fast paced story is full of surprising plot twists and amazing characterization. :)

X-Force: In the Shadows of the Future. This is the story that actually started the whole timeline. Set roughly 5-10 years in the future, X-Force is an efficient strike force led by Roberto Da Costa, on a mission to take out a government-run, Nimrod processing facility. This story is full of action, adventure, humor, and romance! Winner: 1998 Honorary Prosh Award for Writing Excellence! Alternate Timelines' Classic!

Operation: Reciprocity: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. Set in the future (after 'X-Force: In the Shadows of the Future'), X-Force battles the Marauders, as tensions between Roberto, Amara, and Dani reach the breaking point.

Of Clipped Wings and Dying Dreams. The tragic death of a child causes Sam Guthrie to doubt his role as a hero. This is an incredibly powerful story that you Must Read!

Of Shattered Wings and Fading Dreams. The saga continues as Cable and X-Force rush to Kentucky in a desperate attempt to avert further tragedy. This one will keep you at the edge of your seat.

Of Spreading Wings and Sickly Dreams. As tensions mount, a specter from the past threatens Cable and all he holds dear. You cannot imagine how difficult it is to come up with teasers that won't reveal the complex twists and turns of this amazing series - all I can say is Read It!

Of Ragged Wings and Hollow Dreams. Tensions mount at the Mansion, as the situation becomes ever more desperate for Sinister's prisoner. Another incredible chapter in an amazing series.

Excuses. In his own, unique fashion, Shatterstar fends off several flight attendants so that Roberto can get some much needed rest.

Speechless. Siryn ponders the power of silence, temptation, and a new means of expression. A very evocative story.

Can't Not. Still reeling from her conversation with Xavier, Sarah encounters Sam.

On Duty. An evening of comm duty leads Sam and Marrow to a discussion that could change both.

Beautiful Sweet James. (Marrow) A visit to the Guthrie farm prompts Marrow to think about her life before the massacre. A response to the Sibling Rivalry challenge!

Eight Years, Five Months, Four Days. In a hospital waiting room, Terry reflects on her past with Dani, and the future they may not have. This is the follow-up story to "Hey Jupiter," which can be found on Siryn's Story Corner at Siryn... The Woman Behind the Voice. Warning: This story features f/f relationship (nothing explicit), if that offends you, then go elsewhere.

The Last to Leave. An intriguing look into the hearts and minds of John and James Proudstar. This is an insightful story that brings both characters to life. Read it!

Meg's Journal. As Siryn begins to come to terms with the loss of her voice, one woman records her progress and growing affection for her troubled niece. An interesting look at two women and the power of healing.

Mourning After: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. (Follow-up story to "Who's The Boss," by Samy Merchi, which can be found at The Corona.) Terry and Roberto must deal with the consequences of their actions. Highly recommended!

A Perfect World? Part 1, Part 2. In a dream, Sean witnesses an alternate timeline where he was the one who raised Theresa.

So Much Griping, So Little Accomplishment. (Subreality Cafe). On a seemingly normal evening in the Subreality Cafe, John Francis Moore receives some much needed advise. Advice he should have followed - IMHO!

That Girl. When Peter meets Gloria he has no idea exactly what he is getting into. An excellent story.

The Sound of One Heart Breaking. An interesting look at the events in Deadpool #12 involving Wade, Terry, and Jimmy, through Deadpool's eyes. Winner: 1998 Honorary Prosh Award for Writing Excellence!

Shockwave: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6. While on a mission X-Force encounters Julia de Santos, a mutant who just happens to be a member of the Assassin's Guild, and is very good at her job. For the back history of Sabia's original character, Julia de Santos, visit Point and Edge.

It's Not What You Know...: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. Change is coming for the X-Teams, and Julia, now a member of X-Force, is right in the middle of it. Sabia proposes a practical way of improving human and mutant relations that will make you sigh and think 'if only. . .'

The concept of the Subreality Café was created by Kielle, but has since taken on quite a life of its own. If you have ever wondered what fictives do on their downtime, I strongly recommend visiting Subreality Central. You will not be disappointed.

Getting to Know Us. One never knows quite what to expect in the Café, especially when X-Force is in the area.

A Bar of One's Own. Dissatisfied with their current accommodations in the Subreality Café, X-Force decides to find someplace new. A sequel of sorts to 'Getting to Know Us,' this story truly captures the essence of X-Force (several of them, in fact).

Thursday Night. Some nights are stranger than others. Wonderfully witty! Alternate Timelines Feature Story: May 2000!

Cable's Room. Rictor and Meltdown get left behind when Cable takes the team on vacation and decide to explore Cable's room. Do you ever wonder what a gun toting tough guy Cable does on his down time? Now's your chance to find out.

Rage at Cable. A confrontation between Cable and Rictor leads to a dramatic change for X-Force. Written in response to the 'Wrath of Cable' Challenge!

The Hard Way: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 , Part 4, Part 5 , Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12, Part 13, Part 14, Part 15. When Genoshan terrorists kidnap Wolverine and Siryn, their rescue depends upon an unlikely pair of mercenaries, Deadpool and his sister Delphi. Winner of the 1998 Prosh Award for Best Adventure! and Winner of the 1998 Prosh Award for Best Story Overall!

Strange Happenings: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6. X-Force moves into new headquarters. The only problem is that it appears that their new home is already occupied by someone or something that only Rictor can see. Winner of the 1998 Prosh Award for Best Comedy!

Waltzing With The Dead. X-Force encounters the unexpected on Halloween night. This story is just plain fun. Read it and enjoy!

Going Ballistic. Sam's thoughts as he faces death. Wonderful characterization!
