Well SACHIN TENDULKAR is majestic and awesome. Today he has more centuries in the world than anyone else.Recently he broke the record of Desmond Haynes and made his 18th ton.Apart from that he has sacored over 7000 runs at an age of 25.He is certainly a nightmare to every bowler isn't he.In this page we are going to take a look at some of his mighty stats.

86 - 87 13 Scored his first hundred in Bombay's schools cricket tournament.
87 - 88 14 Score over 1,200 runs in schools cricket, including two triple centuries. Scored 326 not out for Shardashram against St. Xavier's in the Harris Shield tournament, putting on 664 runs with Vinod Kambli, a record for any grade of cricket anywhere in the world. Voted best Junior cricketer by the BCA.
88 - 89 15 Scored 100 not out on debut for Bombay against Gujrat. Was the youngest ever to represent Bombay in Ranji.
89 - 90 16 Scored 103 not out on his Irani Trophy debut. Was selected for the tour of Pakistan and became the youngest player ever to play for India in tests at 16 years
90 - 91 17 Scored his maiden test century when he knocked a match saving 119 not out against England at Old Trafford. Was the second youngest to achieve this feat, after Pakistan's Mushtaq Mohammad. Scored 159 on debut in Duleep trophy for West Zone against East Zone, thus becoming the only in Indian cricket to have scoreed centuries on debut in all three major domestic tournaments - Ranji, Duleep and Irani trophies.

Topped with 523 runs in the Wills World Cup 1996.

96 - 97 23 Appointed as captain of the Indian cricket team. Won the Border-Gavaskar trophey and the Titan Cup ODI tournaments for India.

Completes 4000 runs in One day internationals and 3000 runs in Test cricket.

97 - 98 24 Discontinued as a captain but blossomed as a batsman.  He is now regarded as one of the best batsman in the world.  Helped India win the one day series in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the Coca-Cola Cup in Sharjah.

Completes 5000 runs in One day internationals and 4000 runs in Test cricket.  Also completed 6000 ODI runs.

98 - 99 25 Attained unbelievable heights in batting by averaging 110.50 against Australia in the Tests and one-dayers by scoring 995 runs from 11 outings with 1 double-hundred,5 centuries and 2 fifties.

On April 1st, 1998 Sachin Tendulkar bowled his career best 5/32 against Australia in India to win the match.

Helped India win the Singer Akai Nidahas Cup in Sri Lanka.

Completed 7000 runs in ODI.

Equalled the world record of most number of centuries of Desmond Haynes by scoring his 17th ODI century.

Scored three successive centuries in the finals of a trophy.

In the finals of the Sri Lankan Independence Cup in July, sets a new world record opening partnership of 252 runs in ODIs for the first wicket with Saurav Ganguly.

Scored century number 18 and overhauled the world record previously held by West Indian opening batsman, Desmond Haynes.

Scored century number 19 against Australia, and 4 wickets in 9.1 overs to handedly win the match for India in ICC knockout's quarter final.

Scored century number 20 against Zimbabwe at Sharjah

Scored century number 21 against Zimbabwe in final at Sharjah.   India went on to win that match by 10 wickets.
