in this life, words are one of the most powerful forms of expression that we have.  within each of us a voice cries out, a voice that can only be expressed in writing, a voice that rings in our ears, echoes within our heads, and calls out from our hearts..  within these pages, you will find random thoughts, quotes, poems, short stories and who knows what else.  Some of the author's are unknown, and those that are known are listed as such.

~~And he whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together,
"Tell me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane,
tell me where to touch you to give you ultimate easure,
tell me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other."
And I kissed him softly and whispered back,
"Touch my mind."

"Poetry is just evidence of life. If your life is burning well,
poetry is just the ash.”

~Leonard Cohen
Here i am my Dark Wolf.
Come, feed on me, consume me.
Make me Yours as nobody else can.
Let me feel Your fangs, Your claws.
Let me be the receptacle of Your desires.
Take me, Break me, Make me whole.

i am alone

rainbows billow in my head
i sink...and rise
tide-torn to find

i am a mermaid
though i have two legs,
and between them
what dreams may thrash?
what maddened loves may be
tossed or lost.

i am a beast
mounted by beasts,
swollen-muscled,
purposeful...hard
till the breaking time comes
and we slip apart.

i am the moon
pale, soft, helpless
to halt the invasion
of my shadows.

i am the sun
hot, bright
with a torturous thirst
for the moons misted canyons.

i am mute flesh
that the stroking of
fingers can bring to sing

i am alone.

little counterfeit lover,
how were you born out of milk-white
warm-white vanishing bubbles?
how, cast from a half dreamed memory,
do you understand the tick-tock
of a ravenous heart?
and how, from your half imagined mouth
do you blow wet foamy kisses
light as touches
began and ended yesterday?

trying to see You
my eyes grow confused
it is not Your face
they are seeking
fingering through Your spaces
like a hungry child
even now
i do not want
to make a poem
i want to make You
more and less
a part of myself.

may i never remember reasons
for my spirit's safety
may i never forget the warning
of my woman's flesh
weeping at the new moon
may i never lose that terror
that keeps me brave
may i owe nothing
that i cannot repay
