RICK GERMANO
Rick has
been up and down many roads chasing all manners of critters. If you are
running late, let Rick drive--close your eyes and hold your breath.
He and John Schlueter have been a hunting team for as long as pepper's
been black. Rick is a decoy packing fool and often is the 'mule'
for those long hikes in to the places that other knotheads wouldn't even
think of walking to, much less tote 3 or 4 dozen decoys. Makes it
easier on us old hands with bad knees. Up until this year, Rick's
dog, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Torpedo (Peedy), was a constant companion.
Unfortunately Torpedo passed on to that duck blind in the sky, where we
hope he is getting to make a lot of retrieves.
