I believe in you and me:  nice song, but not the best of the album.

Step by step: I don't like it

Joy:  This is the true starting of great music in the album. Wonderful.

Hold on, help is on the way: MY PREFERRED ONE in the album. Makes me thrill lots of times. It reminds me of my first love.

I go to the rock: THIS IS A POWERFUL SONG !!!! One of the best.

I love the Lord:  not my favourite, but with a lot of gospel inside.

Somebody bigger than you and I: I don't like it.

You were loved: not adequate song for this album.

My heart is calling: not adequate song for this album.

Who would imagine a king: MARVELLOUS !!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG!!! WHITNEY, WHAT A VOICE IN THIS TRACK!!!

He's all over me:  nice and powerful.

The Lord is my sheperd:  I'm sorry. It's not Whitney (it's her mother), and a bit boring.

Joy to the world: a bit long, but FANTASTIC RENDITION OF THE TRADITIONAL SONG!!!

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: Whitney at her purest state. Despite some commercial tracks, she makes listeners adore gospel music with this collection of songs.  A very risky album for her (infact, at least in Spain, her popularity has decreased a lot since the appearance in nov. 1996), but she can do it 'cause she is the best. Now, she gets back to commercial trends with "my love is your love" (nice work).  Hope next year she gives us another "The Preacher's Wife-esque" gift.
