I had to listen to this album about three times before I finally 'got it.' Once I did though, I never looked back. Whitney is in rare form on this album. I can't believe that more people aren't buying this album.  They're instead buying Mariah's #1's. UGH.  Anyway, here's my rundown of all the songs.

1)
It's not right, but it's ok.
This song is the jam. She's gotta make a video for this one.

2)
Heartbreak Hotel
This is the only song on the album that really slows it down. It's drab, boring, and depressing. I don't understand why this is the next single. There are so many other songs on the album that would make better singles. This song should never see the light of day.

3)
My Love is Your Love
Once this song grows on you, you can't stop singing it. It's reggae tinged and funky at the same time.  Bobbi K sounds so cute on "Clap your hands." She's right on the beat. Very deep lyrics as well.

4)
When you believe
This song is ok, nothing to write home about, but it's not bad. The lyrics save it from being lost. Whitney kinda wipes the floor with Mariah, who oversings her part.

5)
If I told you that
This song is pretty good, not a classic, but it's good.  My only complaint, sounds a bit too much like that other Rodney Jerkins song (I think you know which one I mean).

6)
I learned from the best
I might be getting the order of the songs mixed up, I don't have the album right here. Anyway, this is an excellent song. Understated, yet classy. A winner.

7)
Oh Yes
You can't listen to this song and not feel that she's singing about Bobby. If you can overlook that, it's a pretty song. It's long, but well worth a listen.

8)
Get it Back
This song is obviously a filler, something to take up space, but it's not bad.  Not worthy of being a single.

9)
I Bow out
This is a sultry number, she sounds very convincing. Very nice and mellow.

10)
Until you come back
The best song on the album. Beautiful. She hits notes like nobody else. And the end, oh, she's truly in a class by herself. This will be a Whitney classic.

11)
You'll never stand alone
Gorgeous, classic Whitney. This should definetely be released. This will go down with WH songs like "Greatest Love of All" and "I have nothing".

12)
I was made to love him
Funky, new sound that fits Whitney to a T.

13)
In my business
Not a favorite, but good nontheless.

As I said, I know some are out of order, but this album is definetely her best yet.  Don't let those Billboard charts fool you. Whitney's still queen.
