Our town
is located in north Greece, Macedonia. Giannitsa
is a small town of about 30.000 inhabitants.
The school located
on the east end of the town, on a low hill, is a fifteen years old building preserved in an excellent condition.
It has more than 15 different classes for six double classes. There is a theatre
room, a small gym, a computer class equipped with 14 pcs and two classes with a small dining room for the extended
shift classes. A huge school yard surrounds the building and there are playgrounds for all team sports.
The majority of the students are grand children of greek
refugees from Asia minor who were 'exchanged' with muslim habitants after the liberation of the area from the othoman
empire.
