Rainbows

What can I say? I love rainbows.

This is a double rainbow.

We get a lot of rainbows around the mine, and some surprisingly violent thunderstorms. The weather can change with almost unbelievable suddeness, going from a sunny, 70 degrees to a cold, windy, rainy 45 degrees in an hour, often with hail and fierce lightning. It can clear as quickly as it came, or last for a week or more. Always Be Prepared. Nature can be as deadly as it is beautiful, and is rather unforgiving of the unwary and unprepared. Both of these views are looking east from the camp.
