I am a fine arts artist, and my expertise is in oils and pastel. I graduated with a bachelors degree from Wayne State University. I have been painting for a number of years. I am a member of the Naples Art Association and The Artroom. I prefer the Wet on Wet technique in oil painting, or Alla Prima. I use soft pastels for all my pastel paintings. My paintings have been shown in Southwest Florida, Central Florida and Massachusetts in both juried and private showings. I prefer the Renaissance through the age of Impressionism periods. I believe the impressionist style of painting is making a strong come back.
WHAT I LOOK FOR IN OTHER PEOPLE
I like honesty in people and fun loving, someone that can take a joke. I would like to travel to Europe to paint, especially in France, England, Scotland and Italy. I also would like to spend several months in Key West painting and taking pictures for reference to use in my art.
THINGS I DON'T LIKE
I don't like "coffee table art book schooled" know it alls.
