Desiring-Production
Machines and machines connect to machines and machines. Desiring production is the constant production of desire that hooks up into receiving machines. These "outlets" or sockets make desire fall into convenient places that don't mess the social order up too much. (Or not?). Oedipalization is the channeling of polymorphous desiring production into the law of the Father: genital heterosexuality. Not that desire "naturally" or even after socialization produces itself this way: when the man wants to lick the dew-dropped tree why must we suppose he wants to do anything more than attach the tasting-machine to the bark-and-water machine? Can we live a desire where mommydaddy is no longer present? Yes, I said yes I would yes.
