The Subject
Mirrors

The subject is the one who is hiding behind all of these workings. Or rather the subject is the one who is produced by the control and regulation of certain flows, desiring productions and intensities. The subject know himself for what he is by rejecting what he is not. The subject can only hate and love what it "is" through the mirror of an other. The other (Symbolic) creates the subject through discourse and discipline. The Western raionalist subject has given his experience a totalizing and universalist perspective, thus further excluding experiences that fall outside of his scientifico-empricial knowledge production. The schizo is the enemy of the Humanist Subject, because the schizo has no "subjectivity" or "individuality" as commonly understood. For the schizo each desire produces experience anew without reference to a source such as "my fantasies" "my repressed childhood" etc...
