Class Syllabus
This class explores many contemporary, historical, cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives on the social psychology of death and dying. We will study institutional factors as well as the individual expereience and the ways that this is influenced by the social context. We will also probe the ways in which our understandings of death and dying influence our experiences of life and living.
