The following information was taken from a Book called "Genealogy of the Mee Family" which was written by Charles Cowper Mee, dated 1913. A copy of this book is in the Museum of Leister, England. A microfilmed version of this book can be seen at a Latter-day Saint's Family History Center, Film #0944099 #ID# M/F 46

The earlier portions are in very bad shape. There is a blank between 1623-30.
The transcripts date from 1662.  The earlier ones were destroyed at the siege
of Lichfield 1643-44.

Foremarke
Jane, daughter of Thom. Mee, of Engleby buried Nov. 3 1607 in the Chapelry of
Foremarke

John Shorthose, of Milton & Mary Mee of Ingleby, married June 21, 1698


Note:  Thomas Mee, the husband of the Widow Mee of Engleby, was buried in the
Chapelry of Foremarke, but his burial is not recorded in the registers of
Ripton, the parent Church of the Chapelry of Foremarke prior to 1662.
