Character Creation

Character creation in Galadia is the same as in the Big Eyes, Small Mouth book.  I also use the Big Robots, Cool Starships book for making Corebots.  Still, you might want to read through this page (especially if you do not own BESM) because I have made new attributes for Galadia and careers.

Character Outline

Your character outline should have your physical and your emotional description.  You should include age, height, race, hair, eyes, clothes, or anything else you deem important.  There are a few new races that I made for this game below.  Also, I have a list of Careers appropriate to Galadia.

Races

Humans- Humans are the most common of the races.  They live in every nation and have the most power over Galadia.  Humans begin play with 15 Character Points and no bonuses.

Half-Essens-  If you remember from the history, the Essens are a race of pure energy beings.  Some Essens formed with humans creating Half-Essens.  Half-Essens look like humans, but have white hair and glowing eyes.  Half-Essens make excellent mages and are native to Widowin.  Half-Essens begin play with 11 Character Points, +1 to their magic attribute (you still get at least level 1 even if you don't buy magic), and +10 to their Energy Points.

Mutants- Mutants are humans who were either born with weird powers or was made into a mutant.  I will make mutants similar to the Alternity (by TSR) method. Rolling a die and comparing the die to a table.  You will start with 2 random attributes and 1 random defect (the level of the attribute and defect will rely on the die roll).  Mutants also start with 12 Character Points.  If you like to take chances than a mutant is who you want to be.

Animal Men- Animal men are much like the mutants, but I will use a special table for them. Animal Men also get 12 Character Points.  Please specify what kind of animal you are.

Kyaltin Robot-  A Kyaltin Robot is a robot completely under the mercy of the Kyaltin government.  Kyaltin Robots begin with +3 to their mind stat, and +1 Hacking attribute (see New Attributes below).  But, they also start with the defect Owned by a Megacorp level 2.  They begin with 13 Character Points.

Independent Robot (2 CP's)-  An Independent Robot is a robot made by an engineer or inventor.  In Galadia robots have incredibly powerful A. I.  The Independent Robot has +1 Hacking Attribute, +1 to their mind stat.  They also get 13 Character Points.

Careers

Note: All careers having to do with Kyalt require you to at least take level 1 Owned By a Megacorp defect for no bonus points.

Kyaltin Pilot-  Kyalt have there own mechs but they are not made using core.  They are much more primitive than the Corebots.  Kyaltin Pilots must take Own a Big Robot level 2.  I will be making the Kyaltin Mechs in the same manner as the Corebots.

Endolar Priest-  The Endolar Priests are those who devote their lives to the Endolar Religion.  Priests of Endolar have the ability to heal others.

Psychic-  Psychics are those who use the power of there mind to alter reality.  From picking things up to bending spoons, the possibilities are limitless.
