Tavira
Tavira is my home town, my nest and my lair. It's an ancient city that comes from the times when the Roman Empire was in the Iberian Peninsule. Through the years Tavira hasn't grow very much, although is a regular small city. Tavira is famous by it's glorious history, patrimony, and most of all, by it's beaches.

Tavira's Island is very well know not only by it's marvellous beaches but also by the Ria Formosa, an ecological park.

Tavira's history is also linked to the Tuna fish capture. In this century Tavira was one of the greatest points of Tuna fish, but, for an unknown reason, Tuna fishes courses changed and all this Industry perished.

Tavira is one of the most beautifull cities in Portugal and indeed worth a visit. I love Tavira =)
