Happy March to everyone! It is good to be able to release another newsletter to you once again. We have a lot in store for you so read on.
If you are a new member of M.O.N., Welcome! We're so glad you have joined us. There is the place where you will get monthly updates on what's happening with Maxwell and his career.
This website and the newsletters was not something that I set out to do when I started searching for Maxwell online, but it has definitely become something that I truly love. I still remember my first days when I joined the MAA (Maxwell Appreciators Association) in talking about the wonders of The Man. I had came online just in time to join in the vast discussion of Embrya in its new release and I am so glad that I did.
This whole "fan club" thing was NEVER about getting close to Maxwell in a personal relationship, being "official" or being in control of everything , as some people may say. This has always been, from day one, about the Ascension of, the education of, the total spiritual being of Maxwell and his "fans". Everything I do , I do because Maxwell and his "fans" deserves the best, and that is what I try and give.

I want to give MAAAAAAAAAAD PROPS to my girl Dholmes because if it wasn't for her undying love and hard work and pushing us to make the Ascension of Soul experience what it is, we may not have never been able to pull it off as well as we did. With Ascension of Soul up and over 3,000 hits, I believe it is an extraordianry accomplishment for Dholmes. (She claim she didn't know much about HTML coding, but the way the site looks, who'da thunk?!) I want you all to join me in thanking her and our other staff members on an excellent job well done! I am "almost close to diggin me" ! Thank you soooo much!
There was actually no contest, but, I have to mention the CUTEST petition I received on being a keeper! It came from Corrine. She wrote:
"Hi, Michelle... I was wondering, how do people just up and get those so & so- Keeper of his whatever names, cause I want one too, shoot... let me know about the naming thing thanks, Corrine"
Corrine will be receiving a virtual gift from the Keepers Of Maxwell web site for her original and down to earth petition!!!! Thank you Corrine for putting a smile on my face!
In the last newsletter I told you that this newsletter will be going under a design change and I have not quite figured out how I am going to do it. I have found an easier way for me to design the newsletter, although, it may take a little more time for you to view it. Don't worry! It will still be coming to your email, but, instead of opening the file and viewing it automatically, the newsletter will come as an attachment that you open seperately.
I will like to have feed back from you all in regards to what you would like to see in the newsletter and even on the site. I hope to continue to hear from you all.
We have a lot in store for you this month! There are some great news in this newsletter. Print up this newsletter, Grab your self a mug of hot chocolate and read on!

I love this song among others on EMBRYA because it came easy...no struggle no thinking. Just boom. The backgrounds were the biggest pain to do but I got through the five exercises (periodically, kicking myself wondering why Maxwell did you have to create such a complicated chorus) It represents my love for god, woman and all of lifekind. I like the openness of the message. I hope you feel it.

But he was spotted in the audience wearing a cream colored suit and his date was wearing a green dress.

The Whispers…
Last month we invited those of you who have taken the time to decipher the whispers contained in so many Maxwell tracks to send them to Ascension Of
Soul. The Bad News…We haven't received a lot of response so far and it's gonna take a while! The good news… Whispers from "The Suite Theme" are
complete and will be added to the site along with EachHourSecondMinute shortly.
The Scrapbook!
Again not much response on the project either. We'll continue to leave the door open on this project! So if you have scanned Maxwell paraphernalia
(personal photos from appearances, ticket stubs, etc.) You can still send them in!
Suite Keepers Wanted!
New Suite Keepers (site developers) are always welcome on Ascension Of Soul. We invite anyone who is a "Keeper" of Maxwell to share your inspirations
by developing a page or site dedicated to the mellowsmoothe one. P.S. (If you think the scrapbook is a good idea for your own "Keeper Suite" feel

Comments: How's my AOS family? I am totally elated and breathless. I JUST heard "Everywanting To Want You To Want" in my car at around about 7:30PM PST. I almost jumped out of the car. I'm sure people would have thought I had lost my mind. So being as cool as cool can be I just bounced up and down in my seat. Now that is the first time I heard it on the radio,which is the same station in L.A.(KJLH-102.3fm) that mentioned Maxwell was to be at that function saluting Martin L. King. Has anyone else heard it played on the radio? Please respond .It sounds real good hearing it played elsewhere instead of from my own CD player. So until a future time, have a nice weekend, be careful and be good. Love ya!!!!!!

Comments: Hotep Maxlovers~~~~I wanted to let all you ladies know that Maxwell is mentioned about in S2S on page# 5, in the S2S Mag~4 the month of March. The small article was about "rumors" of Maxwell and Ananda dating, so she went straight to the
horses mouth, well one of them. Jamie asked Ananda if she and Max were dating, and Ananda denied that she and Maxwell are dating, she said they are just friends, and that she isn't even checking men right now. They also go on 2 mention Maxwell's tour , and as per S2S they don't know when the tour will take place. Thye make a joke saying Maxwell's tour may take place in March. No April, Well maybe May, but they assure us 2 not worry Maxwell will get it 2gether soon! Jamie also goes on 2 say that "Embrya' didn't do so well, so maybe thats why he isn't touring now, she is only offering her own thoughts on the tour and why it was cancelled or postponed. She ends by asking, well maybe a lil begging~4 Max 2 come on back, cause "we" love him~and I couldn't agree more~~LOL!~p.s. there is a very cute pic of Max and Jamie on page# 5 as well~~~Now Maxwell also has a very cute picture in Instyle March issue, with actress Debbie Mazar, he was at Sandra Bernhardt's Broadway opening~~he has this very cute pose going on and the facial expression, let's just say it's animated~~lol. While we were mesmerized by his dance moves, his sound reinvented soul. Now with his second
album, Embrya under his belt, this 25-year-old cantante of West Indian and Puerto Rican root is
charming us all over again. He speaks to us about the passion that inspires his music.
What motivates you to write such beautiful songs?
I'm basically inspired by everything: the way a woman
moves; the way the trees look, the way the moon looks; the things that happen in my life; my problems and
hardships, although you shouldn't always concentrate on sources of pain. I would also have to say it's God. And my
personal god is Woman---it's always been.
Your album is the ultimate sex-me up music. What do you listen to when you want to get in the
mood?
Antonio Carlos Jobim. You ever listened to him? How fly is his stuff! And I am not just talking about "The
Girl from Ipanema." I'm talking about the real-deal stuff. His voice is like butter. You put that on, and it's like,
hmmm.
When you see a woman across the room, what do you notice first?
You don't want me to get raw, do you?
(Laughs.) I'm a butt man. I bet I'm gonna get a lot of letters from on that one. I also love it when a woman has a
beautiful gaze that I can't escape, with an amazing set of eyes.
What's it like trying to maintain an ongoing relationship in the music business?
It's hard. I've learned
that women want you to be a man, to be strong, but I have problems expressing myself, like any other guy. It's
easier to express myself through my music, but when it comes down to it, a woman wants to talk to you.
So how do you keep a relationship progressing?
You have to work to get to the most vulnerable state with a
woman. It's all about the right person. I want to have it all--to be married, to have kids---but how can you be
sure that the person you are with is The One? I try to pamper the person I'm with. I consider myself a romantic.
Whats the romantic thing you've done for a woman?
I know this sounds simple, but there was one instance
when my girl was really impressed with the fact that I remembered to bring home the groceries.
Do you remember your first kiss?
(Laughs.) I remember I got that pretty quick. I think it's in the blood. I
was around eight and it happened at a wedding. Her name was Christina. I was pretty good at it.
Speaking of being good at things, I saw you naked on MTV. How difficult was it to convince you to
take off your clothes for the "Luxury: Cococure" video?
It wasn't hard at all. It's all about being open and
intimate with the person you are with, of connecting with that person spiritually (even through the camera lens.)
Yeah, but my mom called me up and said "What were you thinking, son?"
