The Pipe Shop is equipped with cold pipe bending machines up to 200 mm diameter, together with various cold cutting machines. Semi-automatic and manual metal arc welding equipment is used for the fabrication of pipes and fittings.
Facilities for hot bending of pipes are also available. Work is carried out on any kind of steel pipes, stainless steel, yolcabro, cunifer pipes, etc…
The pipe working department employees about 220 fully qualified tradesmen, 70 of which are employed in the pipe shop. A considerable amount of certified pipes of various types and sizes are always available in stock.
