Oh, Rabb, Open up my heart!
As a new member of Islam, a new muslim, I have many questions, much to learn, and some concerns causing trepidation. Technology being what it is, the Internet is often the first place I go for information. While it seems that women have quite a number of support groups on the Internet, those resources are sorely lacking for men. This is why I started aNewMuslim@onelist.com which is a list for questions and discussions pertaining to the way of Islam. People of any gender are welcome, whether they've made declaration to Islam or are simply looking for more information. We do not welcome those who would attack the Qur'an, the Prophets, or muslim people; Please keep with the intention of this list, which is to learn. Insha'Allah, we will all be granted greater understanding. While your masjid (mosque) may be your best source of information, Insha'Allah (Allah/God willing) this list will help us in our pursuit of greater understanding of Allah and Allah's will for us.
