Wash Beets
Boil beets until skin comes off.
Run beets under cold water.
Cut and Pack beets in jarrs.
Add 1/2 tsp. salt too each quart or pint jars.
If quart size jars add 1 tsp. salt

MAKE SURYP
2 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
1 tsp. pickling spice
Boil 5 mins.
Pour over beets and seal jars.
Wipe jars
Let cool, then store in cold storage room.
Will keep for 2 years.
