2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 tablespoons butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 10- inch pie crust or graham wafer crust.

Scald 2 cups milk in a double boiler.
Mix together sugar, salt and flour, and add to the milk.
Slowly stir in 1 cup milk. Cook until thick, about 5 mins., stirring occasionally.
Add egg yolks and stir, cook 1 min longer.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
Line pie crust with sliced bananas and pour filling over top.
Serve with whipped cream.
