Chapter Eleven Highlights

-Winter storms play havoc with the city's operations, resulting in slow responses for 911 calls, near impassable streets & power outages through out the region.

- A Ventrue owned nightclub called the Vortex was attacked by a Sabbat pack, resulting in the deaths of several clan ghouls.

-Prince Lucien & his advisor Antonio are missing. An assasination attempt is alledged to have occurred. Details of the attack are sketchy & attributed to the Sabbat as well. For unknown reasons, the Primogen have chosen to disband in the wake of the attack, perhaps to make themselves less obvious targets.

-Another establishment, a gentlemen's club called Eden, was also the scene of a brutal gun battle. Local authoritites have been quick to blame it on two rival factions of the Russian mafia as they have little evidence & no witnesses to question.

Chapter Twelve

The chapter opens on New Year's Eve 1997. The relentless bitter cold of the past weeks continues as the city braces itself for another blizzard, one that is predicted to set new records for snow fall. Hidden from mortal eyes, another storm looms on the horizon: the Sabbat. Only briefly seen, all know that the true might of the Sword of Caine is yet to come.

The Camarilla have also renewed their interest in the city, their mostly friendly overtures now past. rather than see it fall to the Sabbat, the sect may move in as well. Given their supporters within the Tremere, Toreador & Malkavian clans, the Camarilla may have little trouble taking back Philadelphia.

But what of the others, those who have opposed both sects' infiltrations. Those who stood with Lucien in defying the elders' might. Have they forgotten their Prince, now missing & feared truly dead? Will they once again rise to challenge of the invaders to protect their freedom or will once again Liberty die beneath Camarilla rule or Sabbat insanity?

The answers begin in Chapter Twelve, Part Two of our saga. For some it will be a new beginning, others a merciful end, yet always packed with surprises. As a great man said, hold on to your butts, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

*Storyteller's Note- I have no idea how this game will end, as it were. The characters will decide who finally triumphs &  who will perish. To them I leave our Philadelphia to nuture or destroy. In the end, whenever it arrives, I know we'll all have had a great time.
