my coyote

This is an eastern coyote, taken in my woods in Northern PA. The Raven WearŪ suit is not the type of gear you would normally associate with Pennsylvania, but I wore it for two reasons: 1. I like to sit all day and it was very cold that day. 2. I was twenty five feet up a leafless beech tree with a light blue sky for a back-drop. After a half dozen trips to Saskatchewan, I've come to realize that white is the perfect medium for an open sky back-drop. This "yote" weighed 52 pounds

pike and walleye

Pike and Walleye abound in western Canadian waters. My ideal hunt is a combo for bear, ducks, geese, grouse, snipe and fish, all on the same trip.

James Bond's coyote

James Bond made a great shot on this Montana coyote with a mechanical broadhead. I'm not a big fan of open-on-impact blades, but I was impressed with the baseball size hole that was made in this yote. We were hunting the edge of a pasture and when the yote ran out in the open and died, all the cows gathered around him in a circle and stared at him --- as if conducting a funeral.

Forksville spike

This apple tree held a lot of bucks for me. I hunted in the Forksville area of Sullivan County PA. for many years. In those days (a few decades ago) I simply hunted for any legal buck. It was a time when does outnumbered bucks 35 to 1 and seeing any buck was a gift.
