Stuff about you: The name
"Tallulahdahling" came to me when I said to
myself: "Let's go outside the box and pick a
non-Buffy name." And suddenly there was Tallulah
Bankhead (are you old enough to remember?) saying:
"Hello, Dahling. Wouldn't I make a *blankety-blank*
divine vampire? Die! Die! My Darling!" I fell under
her spell and had to take the name. And I like it because
it's a challenge to type w/o boo-boos. My apologies to
dyslexic posters. HOBBIES: Stage acting (during rehearsals I don't do any of my other activities - not even writing, as if acting's not a hobby. And to my soul, it's not.); drawing; poetry and light verse; figuring out my computer; collecting character voices (within my person), broadway musical recordings and hats; watching Buffy. And...well, I sing. MY LIFE: I was born in 1954. I didn't sleep much as an infant, and then I became a child prodigy. I was INTENSE. My favorite thing to do was to "go into things and find everything that's in them" and one of the areas I loved to go into was human character - beginning at age two. I did this mainly while lying in bed at night instead of sleeping (I'm a creature of both the day AND night.). At 3, I saw that my fascination with putting myself into other people's bodies and situations and playing with alternate versions of stories translates into acting or storytelling as a career. I suddenly wanted to act with a passion (the idea of transforming myself believeably was spellbinding to me), among other passionate interests...At age 5 I learned to hate with a passion. The enemy: school. I hated it because I loved learning in-depth, and because school was compulsory then, which made homeschooling a legal no-no. I considered the compulsory part to be outrageously immoral. At 5 I promised myself never to forget my first five years, never to let the school-people erase the me I had made, and never to let myself die inside. Keeping alive inside became my driving purpose (always had been, but it hadn't been seriously threatened until kindergarten, so it wasn't at the front of my mind until then). I think that long-standing purpose of mine is why Spike's character fascinates me so...think about that...any questions? My first novel, A TURN FROM DeWURST, is being prepared for publication by Royal Fireworks Press, and should be out in 1999. It's a children's philosophical (!) novel, serious but with plenty of fun, humor, and vivid characters. No vampires, except in spirit. My present project is non-fiction for adults: an in-depth presentation of my and my mother's memories of my first five prodigious years, including how my parents and grandparents nurtured me. A professor of child development and two gifted organizations are giving me lots of encouragement in this project, and an editor of books about gifted kids is already interested (even though it's far from ready for submission). Both of my projects grew from a promise I made to myself at age five. I don't have
much time for watching movies or TV, but Buffy's hooked
me. I can tell that everyone who works on this show gives
it their very talented best. And it's so imaginative that
it makes me lie in bed at night, "writing"
(more like "living") my own Buffy situations,

Buffy Baddie: Spike Stuff about you: I wrote my last description, about a week after i came to bronze, i hadn't really found myself as a poster yet so here goes try #2, i'm 23 and lost in the world. i'm a bit of smart @$$ at times and have a terrible temper. i abhor my job but enjoy having spending money at the end of the month so i'm still here. I live in Texas (Just in case you've never seen me post, or missed my name) in the great city of Austin. went to school @ University of Texas (Hook `em Horns!!) but didn't finish, long story. I was gonna major in Mexican-American Studies but like i said didn't finish. So now I work as a software analyst while honing up my Unix & Oracle skills to get the hellmouth outta dodge. Why am I lost, not sure I just know i'm not in the right place yet to be totally happy, i'm the quiet guy until you know me, then ya can't shut me up. Movies: Field of Dreams, Godfather, Usual Suspects, Braveheart or anything uses baseball as a link between generations. M! usic: actually its musica latina, latin house/hip hop/pop and of course salsa/merengue & tejano, throw in a lil 80's, hip hop & country for good measure. I like to read & write sometimes and maybe one day i'll write that book i always said i would.
