What’s New At CCLAS

           The bi-monthly meeting is now held at Sullivan’s Irish Pub, located at 13368 Madison Avenue, on the corner.  This change is permanent.

 

 

Foster Help Needed!!

How To Keep Your Pets Comfortable

           Here are some tips to keep your pets cool in the Summer!  Brought to you by the America Veterinary Medical Association.

                                      Each year, in the country,                                

                                millions of healthy, adoptable  

                                cats and dogs are killed because

                                there are not enough homes for  

                                them all.  Get your pet spayed

                                or neutered, so your pet doesn’t

                                add to those statistics. 

 

       Since 2002, CCLAS has spent over $14,000

       helping spay/neuter pets.

 

       Annually, almost 200 cats and dogs are

       adopted from the shelter.

 

       The Lakewood Animal Shelter depends on

       CCLAS to help provide food, supplies,

       adoption kits, and capital improvements.

      

       CCLAS even helps with unexpected expenses.

       A year or so ago, the shelter’s clothes dryer

       (used to dry towels and beds for the animals)

       was being held together with duct tape, and had

       finally broken beyond repair.  CCLAS was able

       to purchase a low end, yet working, dryer for

       the shelter.

 

       Without you, CCLAS would not be able to

        support the shelter.  Please consider giving to

        CCLAS, and help us continue our programs

        and support.  We have some new ways which

        you can do just that.  Our new, more
