The Chillicothe Civic Theatre (CCT), a
non-profit organization, was founded on December 11, 1968 for the purpose of serving as a
center for persons interested in any phase of theatrical activity, whereby they might
advance their knowledge and skills and contribute to the recreational, educational and
cultural enrichment of the community. On June 20, 1969, the first play, Never Too Late,
was performed.
Who may join us?
Any person interested in any phase of theatrical activity or in supporting live theatre in the community is welcome to join Chillicothe Civic Theatre. Young or old, actor or not, we can always use your talents in our organization. Plenty of behind-the-scenes work is always available!
How are we supported?
All funds of Chillicothe Civic Theatre are derived
from membership dues, ticket receipts, playbill advertising, special programs and
donations. As a non-profit organization, all funds are expended for activities within the
theatre.
Where are we located?
Chillicothe Civic Theatre is based in Chillicothe, Ohio, a city of 25,000 located in south-central Ohio (about 45 minutes due south of Columbus). Due to budget constraints, CCT will no longer be leasing office space after July 31st. Please contact us at P.O. Box 356, Chillicothe, OH 45601. We are currently looking for a new office space, and until then, our physical properties will be in storage.
