Known for his cigar smoking ,Apone was a  member on the ill fated rescue mission to the HADLEYS HOPE facility. After detecting PDT's (Personal Data Transmitters) over at the Atmosphere Station. The  marines were sent in to rescue some "dumb assed colonists".
      After reaching SUB-LEVEL three (under the Main coolings towers), they discovered an alien "HIVE". The first of which to be encounted by
humans. It was realized that firing in "Station' would rupture the cooling system.  Gorman ordered that there was to be "no firing in there" Flame units only. Apone then collected magazines from everybody and where entrusted to Frost.
    An alive colonist was found "cocooned" into the wall of the complex. Attempts where made to remove her , however all where invain as she "Gave Birth" . Apone opened fire with a incinerator Unit (see USCM tactical Database) killing the chestburster , however it seemed to have awakened the "hive". The Motion Trackers began to ring out. Apone ordering them to go to "Infa -Red".
        As Dietrich and Frost went down, Apone was grabbed and contact was lost with him. ..He is missing ,Presumed Dead , Probably cocooned..."Just Like the Others"
